Wyatt Park Baptist Church

Wyatt Park Baptist Church is a vibrant, gospel-centered, mission-driven church located in Saint Joseph, Missouri. Our mission is simple: Love God. Love Others. Serve the World. Everything we do is centered on helping people know God, grow in Christ, belong to a local body of believers, and go into the world with the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Wyatt Park is a multigenerational church with more than 130 years of history in Northwest Missouri, located in historic Saint Joseph, MO, just 35 miles north of Kansas City International Airport. Our 21-acre campus includes an 80,000-square-foot facility and an 850-seat sanctuary that provides significant opportunity for continued ministry and growth.

A Church Experiencing Revitalization

Over the past five years, God has led Wyatt Park through an exciting season of revitalization.

During that time:

• Average attendance has grown from approximately 80 to 350 people.
• Our staff has expanded from 2 to 7.
• The church has gone from approximately $2.5 million in debt to completely debt-free.
• New families and younger generations are becoming an increasingly important part of our congregation.
• Most importantly, our church has renewed its focus on reaching the lost, making disciples, and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ across the globe.

We are incredibly thankful for what God has done, but we believe this is only the beginning.

Looking Toward the Future

Wyatt Park has a rich history, but we are not interested in simply preserving the past. We want to honor those who came before us while faithfully pursuing the mission God has given us for the future.

We believe God has positioned Wyatt Park for a significant new season of ministry. We are looking for leaders who want to help build something—not simply maintain something.

For our next Worship Director, that means joining a healthy and growing ministry team with the opportunity to help shape the worship culture of our church for years to come. We are looking for someone who loves Jesus, loves people, values excellence, understands the importance of multigenerational ministry, and is passionate about leading people to worship God together.
